As someone in the same profession, I thought this would be something new and cutting edge compared to how most people view librarians. I was sorely disappointed. While the somewhat risqué content did not shock me, it did strike a nerve with how badly it was written. There was really no build up, no background, no character development, and the main character is completely self-absorbed and just not likeable. I will keep looking for something fresh and exciting about librarians.
