(More customer reviews)As a coauthor on this book I was dismayed by the comments made by Mr. Pafundi. I wonder if he is looking at the 1st ed. that was written by another person and had some errors. When we took over the book, my colleagues and I went through the text word for word and matched the information with the mainstream radiography textbooks so that limited x-ray operators were receiving the same information as formally trained radiologic technologists. To date we have only received positive reviews, several minor corrections, and the reviewer can check with Elsevier editorial for verification. The text is growing annually with adoptions in most of the limited programs in the US. The State of FL has certified this text and workbook as the text for all their limited program with several other states to follow. The comments by the reviewer are simply not valid and I ask that he contact Bruce Long, first author, with a list of items he feels is in error. An author's goal is to correct errors and we cannot do that unless notified by users. The 3rd ed. of this text is coming out in Feb 09 and thus we are looking at the entire text for errors and revisions and looking at our validated peer reviews. The community of educators and students using this text would all disagree with the reviewer's comments.
