(More customer reviews)I bought a uke on a whim for something fun to strum on while sitting around my apartment. I had no education on any stringed instrument. This book is exactly what I was looking for; diagrams of where the fingers go to strum the basic chords.
This just shows the chords, no songs or exercises, but for a beginner it's a perfect primer and gets you playing right away.

The chords are grouped by type, including major, minor, seventh, diminished, augmented, and more. A summary of where the chords lie on the fretboard is also included. This book can be used with either the soprano (standard) or tenor ukulele in G-C-E-A tuning.
