(More customer reviews)I have read other autobiographies of Charles Finney, but this book is by far the most thorough and accurate one. It includes parts of the autobiography that the orginal editor left out and foot notes that give a background on people, places, and beliefs prevailing at that time. Be prepared though, this is a good size book and much more than just Charles Finney's original autobiography, but historical information that helps you better understand how and why things happened in Finney's life. At times the foot notes and background do not apear very important to the readers of today, but regardless the life of Charles Finney was indeed exciting.
