(More customer reviews)I didn't know what to expect from this book when I first read it. Although it revolves around racing harness horses, the message that he gets across is universal for all horses and horse owners. He weaves us through the business and living on his farm about how each particular horse had an impact on his life. One horse in particular is there throughout most of his life leading the way in his learning from them. Quite fascinating to see how it helped him become a vet. It has drama, humor and compassion. I learned so much about the racing industry that I never imagined. At times, I thought I was actually there. If you like horses or animals for that matter, I would highly recommend this book. Easy read and very enjoyable.
